I had the exact same experience the other week. IE would not work at all. I
could get onto the internet fine by using the AOL web browser but not IE.
Everything was fine after the video intercept issue and reinstalling JFW.

This is interesting because I have been getting random windows crashes while
in IE for several weeks. Finally, last week I got one of those DELL
video-intercept errors which would not re-hook, and had to
uninstall/re-install JAWS7. Since then, I spent a few hours in IE trying my
best to crash windows again, and everything was totally fine! I was already
wondering if JAWS was involved, and now I'm even more curius.

Hi James,
Well guess what I just found out this afternoon? I sent the two mini dumps
the system created from each system reset and sent them to a tech buddy of
mine. He just sent me back the analysis of the dumps and the cause was
"Jawsvid.dll". Imagine that, it couldn't be anything to do with JAWS. I've
learned over the years never to rule anything out.
Thanks for everyones help and advice with this problem
Rick

Yes, I am. JAWS doesn't mes with anything that would cause the
problems you're having.
