Yes, Alex, this is exactly it. Somehow there's a disconnect when I try to
select something for copying.
Using the menus, I can select all, but sometimes I want to select only a
line, or part of a line, and then copy it to the command line to run. When
getting what I want selected is challenging, the whole process becomes
frustrating.
I'm relatively new to TSO, though, and still learning. I don't even know
how to copy one file to another one, so that I can reuse code.
Are there any good tutorials for TSO, because I hate the help screens.
Thanks.
Lora

Sean, I think the problem may be that in order to copy and paste things,
it's necessary to be able to highlight whatever you're trying to copy. This
is often difficult without some scripting.
Cheers.
Alex

When working in a terminal emulation type setting, communicating with a
remote terminal, the applications menu, alt+spacebar is your friend. Here
there are commands for copying and pasting. There is the edit sup menu where
you can copy and paste things. The normal controll+v and controll+c won't
work because they may mean different things on your mainframe.
