Oh, how I agree, my husband muted the sound card on my computer a couple of
weeks ago and then left to run errands, and I had one heck of a time
figuring out what happened and fixing it.

Hello FS Staff and Others:
I have a suggestion for a future release of JFW. Most of us using JFW
depend on it in order to access anything on the computer, and we also use it
through the sound card. Sometimes, if the sound card gets muted which does
happen, we lose speech and all other sounds as well. I'd like to see
Freedom Scientific include a keystroke and appropriate script in the
default.jss file that when pressed would check to see if the Mute All check
box in Volume Control is checked when a user has no sound, and if it is,
uncheck it.
