This is a CD recording application that allows you to create a data CD in the usual way - you select the files you want to copy over and then burn them to the disk. It works OK with JAWS except in one crucial regard; when you create the list of files you want to use, JAWS refuses to read the list. You can navigate them with the keyboard and they highlight as you'd expect, but JAWS doesn't read anything out. I've checked that screen colours and resolution are the standard, and played with custom highlights to no avail. Has anyone come across this situation and know whether I can get this information spoken? Or can suggest something I haven't tried? It isn't too much of a problem, in that I can just use My Computer to get the files over if I need to, but I'm just intrigued as to why this control fails when the programmers have evidently made efforts to render their application accessible. Window Eyes reads it fine, and Hal fails in the same way as JAWS. Steve -- DISCLAIMER: NOTICE: The information contained in this email and any attachments is confidential and may be privileged.
