Hi Hans,

Could you possibly let us know what this device is called and maybe who
makes it and where it can be had?

Thanks.

Hi all

The solution I use consist of a plug which you insert instead of the =
plug for the external screen or projecter.
In the plug some minor electornics simulate a conected screen, which =
allow the normal internal videomonitor to be switched off.=20

This is very useful for those laptops which will not turn the internal =
screen of if no external screen is connected.

It leaves me with around 40% more lifetime for work on the battery. And =
it keep my work out of others sight.

Greetings=20
