Re: Skipping through misspelled words (was Jaws 7.1, etc.)

Hi,
What's important in this situation isn't which version of Jaws you're using,
so long as jaws works. What matters is the spell check feature you're
talking about, as the order of controls differ slightly among them, although
not in ways you can't learn to master easily. But I'll assume you must be
referring to either the spell check function in Outlook or Outlook Express
and/or the spell checker in Word? If so, the important thing is to just
click on the command labeled Ignore. that's all there is to it. The spell
checker will then skip to the next misspelling it finds, or thinks it has
found.

There's also a command labeled Ignore All, which is usually found by
pressing the Tab key once more after you come to Ignore. Use this in case
the word the Spell Check has stopped at is one you know is going to appear
just like that again, or many times more, in the email or document you're
composing. then the spell checker will skip each occurrence of this word.

Finally, you don't have to tab around the controls in this dialogue to do
this, although I recommend it because then you learn which commands are
available in this function. But pressing Alt I will usually activate the
ignore control.,

Hope this helps.
