Frances,

Is this the same company that makes the music program we've been discussing
(I think that's been on this list, not the Jaws Lite list, anyway; I don't
always check? Also, as a dictionary, does it resemble a dictionary like the
top of the line American Heritage or Webster's in attending to etymology and
giving usage examples, or is it more at the level of a "collegiate" style
dictionary (I've never actually understood the assumption that college
students, who are supposed to be dedicated to curious learning about
everything for a time, including language, need a dictionary seemingly
better suited to a junior high school kid)?

thanks.

Pranav,

The Ultimate Talking Dictionary is really nice. It is from Premier
Assistive Technology, and costs $39.95 USD. Here'e the link for details:
http://www.premier-programming.com/UTD/utd.htm. I got one and it is quite
nice. It is stand-alone, meaning it installs on your computr and you can
use it whenever you need it.

Francis
