There seems to be a slight misunderstanding here. The function "Reply directly to sender" is invoked by: Jaws key plus shift plus r where the JAWS key is the insert key on the desktop keyboard configuration and the Caps lock key on the laptop configurations. The command is used ONLY for lists, that is you respond directly to the individual sender and not to the entire list. ----- Original Message ----- From: Dave Carlson To: jfw@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Sent: Tuesday, October 13, 2009 12:45 PM Subject: Re: Replying Directly to Sender with OE in jaws Version 11 Roger, Sorry to you, but again using Outlook Express Ctrl+R replies only to the sender. Ctrl+Shift+R replies to all. It's also in the Message menu, so you can verify by looking at the choices. This command can be easily misinterpreted. Node. in Outlook Express Ctrl+R reply only to sender, or Shift+Ctrl+R reply to all. Try using Alt+R. I always just highlight the message I want to reply to in the message list or tab into the message body window. From there, I just hit control + r and it opens the reply window, I've never used the shortcut you're referring to. Not sure if this works in jfw 11 but it's worked in every version I've used, unless I am misunderstanding what you want to do. Hope this helps. -Marc ----- Original Message ----- > From: "Dave Mitchell" <Mitch@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx> > Subject: Re: Replying Directly to Sender with OE in jaws Version 11 > Date: Mon, 12 Oct 2009 16:16:50 -0700 > > Hi Roger, I have noticed the same trouble except that in my case, I have never had it work as intended. > I am using XP Home, O E and the latest JAWS 11. I am using OE and XP Pro. Version 10 appeared to be alright. I would be curious if anyone else is also having this problem. > Roger > > > ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ > > > > No virus found in this incoming message. > Checked by AVG - www.avg.com > Version: 8.5.421 / Virus Database: 270.14.12/2431 - Release Date: 10/12/09 13:01:00 > >
