Certainly, a "Repair" routine could be designed to prompt you for the location of the installation archive, just as, as you say, other repair routines prompt you for the installation Cd.

It's because FS had to switch to the Windows Installer if they want to
keep their product current.

You can go into Add/Remove Programs, and bring up the installer for JAWS
7.1, from their. It should offer you a repair button.

I can't believe that, being named Tristan, you've never heard of Tristan
and Iseult - the famous lovers out of Arthurian myth, Medieval French
Romance, Wagnerian opera, etc. What aren't they teaching kids these days!
