actually the link passed out was legit and took you to ms itself.  No need to 
download it really as the auto update will get it for you.

  There really is not anything new in it that will make it useful to download 
it from another site, plus, I would feel much safer to get it from the official 
site, via the updater.
  Someone pointed out too, that you never know what kind of stuff other sites 
might put in their files along with the pack.
  So it is up to you really of you can and want to wait or get it somewhere 
else.
  The latest is that the official release has been delayed and I am sure it is 
for a reason.
