Real Speak Voices

Dear Dave and Friends,
I like to use the Solo-Direct voices occasionally, however, as you stated, only for reading long articles and such. I too use them to record onto tapes, as not all of our Blind Chhess group's members have computers. So I can send them our Newsletters and quartely magazines without having them read out by a person.
Speaking of Voices, I am going nuts, trying to get my Eloquence exactly the way I had it before having to do a full System reinstall. 

I wish I had written up what I had it all set up as.
I did not think it would be so hard, well, one gets used to something over a period of years, and then it is hard to have it changed.

Personally, I only use them for reading long passages, or when I want to
capture the reading of a very long document on to a cassette tape for later 
reading.

Do people really use these for daily use (thought the weren't all that
responsive) or just for reading long passages, like books and articles?
I think I'll download from the FS Website the latest rather than install
from an old CD, particularly since my CD appears to have an old version.

The voices that came with 8 were SAPI 5.  RealSpeak came along with 10.
The disc is separate, and should be easy to install.  As to whether or
not you'll like them, that's purely subjective.

Just a quick couple of questions.  I believe, with my JAWS 8 CD, I
received a separate CD with Real Speak voices.  I never installed

them.  I

went away from JAWS for a few years and then came back during JAWS 11.
I'll probably wait to install JAWS 12 until after we go to Windows 7,
which should be happening momentarily.
Questions:
1.  Does anyone really use the Real Speak voices, and if so, what for?
2.  Should I want to install them, should I buy a new CD or will the

old

one likely still work?
