Hi,

Cap I n answer to your first question:
1. Press JAWSKey+NumRow6 for the configuration manager, then CTRL+SHFT+D.
2. Press ALT+S for Set Options.
3. Press Y for Sayall Options.
4. Uncheck the "Say Caps" Checkbox.
5. Press Enter for OK.
6. Press CTRL+S.
7. Press ALT+F4.

In response to loading default settings for JAWS, quit JAWS, go to the run
dialog and type the following
jaws6 /default

Matthew

Subject: Reading it all with CAPS, ALLCAPS, And Factory Default New Location in
Jaws6

Hi all,
Someone running XP home with Jaws 6 asked me the two following questions
regarding Outlook Express messages:
Q1 When reading a string such as This IS a Test for JAWS, Jaws reads it in all
cursor modes as follows: CAPS T this ALLCAPS IS a
CAPS Ttest for ALLCAPS JAWS.
Q2 What happened to the Factory Defaults location? In previous versions, we
used to reset to Factory Defaults in the Config Manager.
The user doesn't remember the changes made in the Config Manager. We've already
talked about repairing Jaws as the best option, but
it will be good to find out why this is happening. Any help for either question
will be much appreciated.
Thanks in advance,
Adam
