Hi Judith, What I was trying to explain in my own suggestion was that using a comma, not a dash, makes it even easier. Because you don't hear the dash and then have to ignore it in your mental picture of the number. You just hear four digits at a time, the way a sighted person would think of the number or repeat it to someone. hve to asiwer.easieer ----- Original Message ----- From: "Judith Bron" <jbron@xxxxxxxxxxx> To: <jfw@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Monday, May 01, 2006 12:35 PM Subject: Re: Reading credit card numbers with Jaws If you put a dash in between every few numbers you have an easier time reading it than reading a large block with the numbers lumped together. ----- Original Message ----- From: Jim Talley To: jfw@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Sent: Monday, May 01, 2006 2:25 PM Subject: Reading credit card numbers with Jaws Hi fellow campers, do any of you know how to make JFW read large blocks of numbers such as in a credit card separately.
