Sorry I blindly pasted in a link in my previous message on this subject
because I had heard I.E. opened the manual, not realizing the reason
Jaws said that was because it was written in html and not a web page.

I must be missing something. I think everybody has, by default, the
Windows
text editors NotePad and WordPad, both of which have become more
sophisticated over the years, and I'll wager that most of us, too have

Word or, in the case of the occasional lawyer or paralegal,one release

another of WordPerfect. Isn't this so? Then why do these additional text
editors get developed and marketed or, if they're shareware, distributed
free? By the way, although I never have played with it, I think Freedom
Scientific introduced its own sort of text editor that installs with
Jaws or
something like that. There, too, I never figured out why someone would
need
such a thing.
Someone please enlighten me. Meantime, I will sit cross-legged in the
meditation posture and intone mantras, awaiting revelation. :-)
