ReadIris version 10. and JFW version6

I am trying out a copy of ReadIris version 10.  with JFW version 6, but
so far have not been able to get it to really scan my hard copy into
text for me to read. 

Has anyone been able to use ReadIris version 10. with JFW successfully?
 If so, can you tell me the steps that you used to get it to turn the
scanned document into text?

I am using Windows XP PRO?
