I'm not sure I understand what you're saying. Are you saying that, if I
would like to turn off Jaws speaking to announce RSS feeds, I switch to a
British browser called Internet Explorer 3? All I wanted to do was switch
off Jaws speaking that page element, something I expected could be done in
Configuration Manager because it was recognized as something you might wish
to toggle off and on and thus included in the Insert V temporary verbosity
settings menu. If this will involve installing another browser and thus
permanently disabling this feature, I'm not sure I want to go that far. I
might someday want to learn how to avail myself of RSS feeds. Just not right
now.

Or if I misunderstood you, please explain. Thanks.

Another source for you to check that is simple to configure is the U.K.'s
browser called WEB IE3. Which is free and very JAWS friendly and simple
interchange for RSS feeds.

Hi Yardbird and list,
Just a clarification: now I understand what Yardbird wants to configure.
RSS Feeds option is only availible under Internet Explorer 7.0 (both on XP
and Vista). This option is configured through Internet Explerer (I've
mentioned it on my Vista podcast number 4). You'll need to go to
Toolst/Internet Options/Content Page/RSS Feeds and change the settings.
Cheers,
Joseph
