You can do this in any of three ways:
1. Put the JAWS cursor/mouse pointer on the link; right click; choose copy shortcut from the context menu. That will put the URL into the paste buffer. 2. Highlight the link in the JAWS links dialogue; virtualize the window; take the virtual cursor down to the bottom line of the dialogue, where the URL is shown; and copy it into your paste buffer. but, be careful with this method. Often, the URL shown is only a relative path, not the full URL you will need to enter into Feedreader's Add Feed Dialogue. 3. If all else fails, you can always click on the RSS link; let the page open; and go to the address bar and copy the URL from there into the paste buffer.

Of course, once you have gotten the URL into the paste buffer by whichever means, you just paste it into the Add Feed Dialogue. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Sabaruddin Isa" <golden789@xxxxxxxxx>

Thanks

Do I need to detail for you the three ways to determine the URL at which any
given link points?

Knowing only the url to a webpage, how to add its feed to feedreader?
the feeds i wish to add are all found on the page which is actually
our local daily.

I don't know anything about importing feeds from one reader into another.

I
wish I did; I am going to have to *manually* re-subscribe to all the
feeds I
had subscribed to using IE, using Firefox.

I must say, though, I do like Firefox's user interface for feeds much
better
than either Feedreader's or IE7's. I just wish Firefox had a way to
subscribe to all the feeds on a given page, in a single step, rather than
having to subscribe to each of them, one at a time

Sorry; no; don't try downloading it from my site. For some reason,
downloading from there seems to corrupt the file. Haven't figured that
out, yet.

But try searching for it, on the web.

Good morning,

Thanks for the reminder, I was going to search for that but got
distracted.

I found that there is a site http://feedreader.com , which appears
to
be

the home of that software.

I downloaded the newest version 3.x. Noticed that it requires some custom highlight assignments. Does anyone know if 2.9 works "out of
the

box"?

Thanks,
Everett

Everett,

Yesterday the ever reliable Dana Leslie posted the following
suggestion:

For those who do not have IE7, I recommend FeedReader, as an RSS
client. Look for: feedreader290setup.exe

Good morning,

Looking for a good standalone feed reader (not browser or web
based).
Any suggestions?

Thanks, Everett

I think all modern popular browsers - IE6 isn't one - have some

built-in feed subscription support. There are also lots of feed
readers

available desktop and web applications.
