Hi, I apologized because of Yardbird's response. Before we start "flame
wars", I'd like you to write me off list please should you have further
discussion on this matter. Thanks.

I find this so strange I had to respond. First of all Chris expressed
his opinion about question 2 of the original post regarding an AVG
Toolbar, which seems totally acceptable to me. Then Yardbird responds
saying the post isn't about a toolbar, when question 2 clearly is, then
Crhis apologises for making a perfectly plausible response. What's
going on?

Hi, I consider most if not all toolbars to be malware, so don't
install
any
toolbars that the software vendors offer. Just my L0.02 worth.

Subject: Questions About AVG 8.0
Good morning everyone. I have 2 questions about AVG 8.0. When I open
the
AVG
user interface, Jaws says AVG antivirus free, initializing
components,
components list. When I hit the alt key, nothing happens. I have to
alt-tab
to get to the user interface where the alt key will work. Is this
normal
or
is there something I can do to get rid of that other window that pops
up.
My
other question is regarding the free toolbar. Is it okay to install
it or
does it not work well with Jaws.
Cheers.
Geoff
