Re: Question for Windows 7 Users

I've got a Sony that I purchased in 2004. We tote it around everywhere every day and run an engraver with it. It's a work horse. My daughter has one of my old Toshiba laptops that was purchased in 1999. It's still running, although I think she is wishing it would break.

For this reason, I deliberately chose a laptop which is built as a desktop replacement.
Very heay and hard on batteries, but neither of these issues affect me.
In case anyones's interested, is a HP pavillion DV_7.
2.6 GIG Intel CPU, 4 gig of RAM and two 500 gig hard drives.

If you get a laptop be ready for it to break, especially if you
actually move around with it a bunch. Unless you need a computer on
the go I would really suggest you stick with desktops, they are simply
far more reliably built. I've had three laptops (two HP and one
Fujitsu)break within 18mo of purchase and talking with people my
experience is not unique, it's just the price you pay for low weight,
long battery life and relatively low cost.
