You can change on and off with insert V, arrow down to the off on toggle and
hit space bar and hit enter on execute.

Or to change the progress bar announcements, hit alt J, arrow down once to
utilities and enter. Arrow down to configuration manager and enter. Hit alt
S for set options. At user options hit enter. The first thing to appear is
"announce progress bar." Arrow up or down to what you want. Tab to Ok, hit
control S and exit.

Subject: Question about progress messages

Hey guys,
Anyone ever find that when you're loading a web sight, it'll give you
the progress and say something lik 50 percent, 75 percent or what ever?
Any way to turn this off?
Thanks,
Jed
