Does anybody else on here as well as me use the LAPTOP keyboard layout even on a full size keyboard. I much prefer it as your left little finger can easily press the control key and I ust think they are much better. It's also very easy to change to JAWS cursor etc without having to move your hands to much, which is more of a problem if you are completely blind, even for a competant touch typist.

You might check the keyboard layout under JAWS basics (the same screen where you set JFW to run automatically, or from the system tray, or whatever). Simply focus on JAWS, and press Alt to bring up Basics. Tab to the keyboard layout, and see which one is checked. Changing involves nothing more than moving the cursor up or down.
