Thanks John, I hope it's burning now. I did your steps & got to the burn button & after hitting it the screen says burn button pressed. Your first email to this said do an alt + t instead of f and that is where I got confused. Will let everone know if it is successful & if I wasted $58 ordering Record Now preium 8. I would just click yes and then it should take you to the initial burn window. There you click alt + F and then t for write to cd. The contents of the file will not be affected. Do you want to copy the file anyway? 500 Miles.mp3 Duration: 0:03:11 Type: MP3 audio file (mp3) Bit Rate: 128kbps Protected: No Size: 2.92 MB Yes Skip Cancel Repeat my answer each time this occurs Then when I do an alt+t there is nothing that says what you wrote. If I go to alt+t then o for options & go to rip it does but I'm not ripping a CD. There will be an icon in the system tray that says you have files ready to be written. Click that and then when the window opens, hit alt and hit t for write to CD. Then it will ask what format to write the files in and it should be defaulted to audio. Then just tab to burn and on the next group, tab to start burn and it will do it.
