you have to go into preferences and file tipes and select all. or if you
just wanted wav files you can check that in the list of supported file
types.

Hey Bob,
Yes, I also think Winamp might be better. However, if I open the
wav-files in winamp I got the message (There is no track playing.)
But the files play in Media player. Strange. Do you maybe know why?
I will try the jaws hotkey.

Morne. You would get better results and control with another media
player
such as Winamp. However, the way to move around a file in Windows Media
Player is this...
Use the Jaws hot key ctrl+alt+l to focus the "now playing list". Then
tab
till you find the seak left right slider. You can use arrow keys to move
forward and back within a file. But, you only move in large jumps so it
isn't to good for your purpose.

Hi people,
I urgently need help. I went through the short cuts for Windows
Mediaplayer. I am typing interviews and they are recorded as .wav
files. But how do I rewind and fast forward within a track? I can
find the farward, but I get the message that the rewind is
unavailable.
