I have tried opening word first as you suggested and it still does not work.
I do get the message stating that text has been selected when I do control a
to select all and yes I copy with control c to the clipborard and then when
in word control v to paste the text. Nothing works. There has to be a
glitch with jaws or the actual application. Very frustrating.
