RE: Problems with windows XP SP2 and my lap top.

It's not always clear that a Sygate dialog has "popped up" and is asking
you if it's ok for an application to try and do what it's trying; if you
miss that dialog, then your app will indeed appear not to work.  This is
especially if your app has a timeout feature; that is, even if you do
answer, if you don't answer "yes" in time, it will appear that your app
has failed.
