now, for me, jaws 7.0 is completely ok and outside of 1 or 2 very
minor issues, it's the most stable version of JAWS I've seen. 7.10
however? bleh!!!

Here is an interesting annecdote. My computer had to be retired
because I inadvertently caused it's demise. The power went out
three times in less than a minute and when it came back on it gave
three beeps and wouldn't respond to anything. We tried a new power
supply, a new battery and nothing helps.
I ordered a Demention 310 from Dell and I called Freedom Scientific
to see what was compatible as I was told that I would be running
Windows Media Center. It's using XP Home Edition. When I was
talking to the man from FS, his name is Keith, I happened to mention
all of the problems I've been hearing about on the lists. He asked
if they were list serve lists and he gave me a five minute talk
about how many people there are who use Jaws 7 and how there are
thousands who have no problem whatsoever. It's just a few who have
problems and it's the best upgrade they have done in years. Jaws
8, which will be out this Fall, is going to be even better, according to Keith.
