Problems entering searches with WinMX?

Hi all,
Just wondering if anyone else has ever run into the following problem:
I am using WinMX 3.31 with Jaws 5.10, and the WinMX scripts from the JfwLite
page.

When I enter text into the search fields I am noticing that spaces are often
being put in the wrong places. At first I thought I was making an excessive
amount of typos but this isn't the case, the problem occurs frequently, even if
I type very slowly and deliberately.

for example, I did a search for the song "take it easy" by the Eagles.
I typed the title into the search field but what I actually got when I reviewed
the text was " take ite asy".

Up until recently, I had been using WinMX on a slow 850 MHZ machine. I just
switched to a 2.5 GHZ system and suddenly started having this problem.
Keyboard entry works just fine in every other program, this only seems to be
happening in WinMX. I'm unsure whether the issue is related to Jaws, the
hardware and speed of my system, the WinMX scripts, WinMX itself, etc.
Needless to say I'm quite confused.

If anyone has seen this before I would very much welcome any feedback.

Thanks,

--Al
