Problem with AVG version 8

Hi All,
I had a client who installed AVG version 8 and was not at all pleased with
the results. First, all of his messages showed up as having attachments. I
know how to fix this one. Second, his Internet Explorer just stopped
working. He was constantly getting "Internet Explorer cannot display the
web page." Also, I heard that the free edition doesn't have real time
Internet scanning. Is this true? Thanks in advance.
