This will not work. XP will require you to log in before the desktop will appear, even if you do not have a password associated with your account. This is only when you use the classic "Welcome to Windows" dialogue box, not the new "Windows Logon" dialogue box.

How about just hitting Escape? That can sometime just bypass the login and
use the default user configuration.

Given that there should be other stuff on the login page even if no
names I would suspect something is up with the jaws cursor under the
circumstances.

Try using TAB and hopefully you will eventually land on a user name.
Once there Enter should trigger the login.

Also, if you know the user account name (it can be different than the
display name so be careful there), you can hit ctrl-alt-delete twice
at the login screen and it will bring up the old style login where it
asks for user name and password.

If "Administrator" doesn't work "Owner" is a typical alternative.

If none of that works someone may well have put a password on your
system and you will likely need sighted assistance to recover. That
alone should be enough of a reason to not run without a password or
with auto-login enabled.

Hello! I have a HP-laptop. I've never had any password on it and I've

When i boot up the machine, it says "JAWS for windows is ready" and after
that "windows logon". I can't log on with enter oranything other... When i
press JAWS cursor and route JAWS to PC, the window istotally blanc. What's
wrong? Is there any way to access the logon?
