Allan,
Turning off Flash in the Verbosity Menu was the first thing I tried, but it
didn't help. Thanks for the alternate page link. I'll give it a try when I
get a chance. However, I think JAWS should be able to work correctly with
the original page since my old version of Window-Eyes 5.5 does.
I hope everyone who had trouble with the page will submit the link to it in
a bug report. Maybe we'll have a good JFW 9.0 release if they can get all
of the reported issues resolved.

hi,
i just visit to the site and here is the result.
1. the page is using flash movie so the page refresh all the time and is
difficult for us to click at the right link, unless we are
using a mouse. to fix this, when you at this page, press JawsKey+v and
look for flash movie and by default it is turn on, hit
spacebar to turn it off.
2. there is a text version of this page, try this link:
http://abcnews.go.com/altindex
this page doesn't have flash movie.

Try this page with the Beta and let us know if you have the same problem
with the links that I am having.

If I read down the page and press Enter on a link such as "Boy Playing
with
matches" I get a different story than expected. When I use the list of
links feature, I get the right story. I tried turning off Flash, but it
didn't help. I suspect that this page has a lot of dynamic content that
confuses JAWS. Try several links and see what you get.
