Hi Mark, Though not an optimal solution (if there is one), in the print dialogue you can set your printer to print only certain pages (in the print pages range) by editing in the From... and To... boxes. There is another approach, which is, turning off the virtual cursor and looking at the page as a sighted person might see it (which JAWS doesn't interpret very well). However, in my limited trying of this just now I couldn't (as a blind person) make a selection work. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Mark Arnold" <marnold@xxxxxxxxxxx> To: "JFW List" <jfw@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Saturday, April 30, 2005 11:00 PM Subject: Print Selection Options Hello List, I hope I can make my question clear for someone to answer. For example, when in a Word document, you can select text using JAWS by holding down the shift key and select text. This will enable you to print only the text selected if desired. When on a web page, if the shift key is held down to select text and you try to print only the selected text, the "print selected" option in the print dialog will not appear. The odd thing is that if a sighted person holds down the left mouse button to select text, the "print selected" option will appear. All that being said, how can a person select text using JAWS on a web page to enable the printing of only the selected text? Hope this makes sense...
