Hi mark,

I don't see any difference between selecting in Ms Word or in a web page.
You can also try to select with the control and space bar.
For example, if you have some line to select, highlight the first one you 
wish to select and hold the control and click once the space bar and 
continue holding the control key and arrow down to the next line and do the 
same. When you finish selecting this lines press ctrl+c and then ctrl+v and 
paste it everywhere.

You don't tell us which OS are you using and which version of Jaws are you 
working with.
