I recommend getting and regularly running spy bot search and destroy and or
ad-aware. Even if you stop popups from popping up, they can still deposit
bits of stuff on your system that you don't need or want and the more stuff
they drop on your system, the harder the pop up stopper has to work.
Really, pop ups aren't that bad to deal with, just close them and get on
with life but if you stop one for a critical application, you may have
trouble. The critical point here is to stop the stuff from piling up on
your system.

Subject: Preventing pop-outs with Google toolbar?
I would like to prevent pop-ups from being placed on my machine. =
According to a newspaper article, the anti-pop-up feature offered by =
Google does the job. But, that tool comes through installing a google =
tool bar on computer (via a free download). Has anyone had any experience =
with this toolbar and JAWS? Any incompatibility problems?
I'm running JAWS 5.0 and Windows XP.
To find the Google pop-up, go to their tools and services link.
