Dear All,
I have just heard about you. My name is Andrew and I went blind four years ago.
I use Jaws 5.10 and have Windows XP and Windows 2000 in the laptop and desktop
respectively. I have not got a lot of idea about screen-readers due to my lack
of experience but I have several questions I need to solve:
I am a translator and need to learn how to change a Spanish Power Point
presentation so that it will read in English. What I need to do is enter the
various slides, select the text, and overwrite it in English without changing
the pictures.
How do I do that with Jaws 5.10? Are there any keystrokes?
A friend suggested to save the Power Point presentation in an MS Word format,
change the text and then save the MS Word document as a Power Point
presentation again. Does that work?
Cheers to all and lovely meeting you.
Andrew.
