Eric,

FS has at least one very good tutorial on using JAWS with Powerpoint. If you 
haven't gone through it, you really should.

I know there are screen shots which are basically pictures of text, but
probably also
Flow charts and other diagrams.
I was just hoping to read the text.

TextPal often can interpret PowerPoint documents that JAWS has trouble
with.
