You'll get Douglas all worked up if you continue that practice. All you do is press your jaws key followed by the windows key and the letter W. A bit of a move but it does work. It "verturalises the current window" or in this case the about dialog box of your current jaws version. It can really come in handy when you get an error message because all you do is issue that command arrow up and down select what you want with the shift and control and arrow keys or just do a plain select all with control A. Hope that's helped Thanks Daniel From: Rik James <mailto:Ohio1803@xxxxx> Sent: Thursday, April 28, 2011 1:02 AM To: jfw@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: Re: JFW 12.5 and automatic update sorry. it is correct. thank you for catching me. Really. My current version of JAWS is 12 point zero point 525. When I do an About JAWS it reads it pretty quickly and I try to remember what it says. I thought I would try and paste it but I could not get the cursor to focus on the version number to paste it. So there goes my gold star for today. Thanks for the information. I guess I will wait until the update question box pops up to ask for my permission. Check your "about" box again, please. I am using JAWS version 12.5.25 on my Windows 7 Home Premium machine. It seems to work pretty well. This version is what is listed on About JAWS. Perhaps the update happened automatically? Or should I say, is this the most recent version? Thanks. Rik
