Hi there, Oh, I apologize. It should be under HTML Options. Cheers, Joseph

Hello Joseph,Please reread my message. I'm fully aware of this. What I am
asking in my
inquiry is if anyone knows which item on the Configuration
Manager Settings
menu this item can be found. Thanks very much.

Hi there, Yes, you are correct: the Vervosity Dialog mirrors Config Manager (that's another story). The changes made in Config Manager is permanent, whereas settings made from Vervosity Dialog is temporary. Cheers, Joseph

Jerry, thanks, but I'm still using IE 6. The other thing that occurs tome is that, almost without exception, if an adjustment is offered on thatInsert Vcontext verbosity menu, it's usually represented by a setting youcan makewithin Configuration Manager. Maybe I'm wrong to assume thatabout thisparticular item, but that's what I was thinking.

In I.E. 7, go to tools, internet options, control tab to thecontentpage, tab down to the feed settttings buttton and press it. Thenyou canturn off the sound and I am unsure about the feed reading viewoption.Perhaps this is a step in the right direction. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Yardbird" <yardbird@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx To: "JFW List" <jfw@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Sent: Friday, March 30, 2007 1:41 PM Subject: Permanetly turning off RSS availability announcements
I want the RSS announcements to stop on all Web pages I visit. Iknowyou can toggle them not to speak, site by site, using the Insert Vmenu. Butwhere in configuration Manager can you set Jaws that waypermanently andglobally? I've just been looking through HTML options, on all thetabs, but no luck. Same with the Verbosity settings menu item. whereshould I havelooked?
