In addition to the previous suggestions of Control-Enter and alt-s
from an open message, you might want to check to see if send message
immediately if checked in the send dialogue in options under tools.

If you've held mail for later delivery, it would be in your out
box rather in drafts.

    Hope this helps.

Subject: Outlook Express problem sending mail

I am sighted and trying to help a blind person, Gennie, send mail
with
Outlook Express. We are using JFW 5.0.
JAWS is installed on both computers so that I can try things at home
and
again when I get to Gennie's house. After opening Outlook Express I
press
Ctrl N to get the form for a new message.
After composing the message I press Ctrl M to send a receive mail, but
this just acts as a carriage return adding additional lines.
When I press ctrl s to send it puts the message into the draft folder.
I
highlight the message in the Draft folder and press Ctrl M again and
it
appears to be sending and receiving but remains in the draft folder.
It
does not appear in the sent mail folder nor in the recipient's in box.
I
have tried to send mail from my computer to hers and she has sent from
hers
to mine but neither of us receives the mail.

What are we doing wrong?

Lenny
