hi the save feature in the script manager does compile. so load script manager with jaws key zero with the program running you want to work with. this will insure the right scripts are in front of you. now hit control s or select file save from the menu. now exit script manager with alt+f4 and the job is done. hth -----Original Message----- From: jfw-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:jfw-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Angel Sent: Sunday, December 03, 2006 4:58 PM To: jfw@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: Outdated jaws scripts I have a dictionary program called word web. It has scripts which are outdated. I put them in the proper folder and was given a message I was to press the save-compile prompt in the file menu of the script manager as they needed to be compiled to work with the present version of jaws with which I was working. There doesn't seem to be a save-compile prompt in the menus anywhere. There is save without compiling but not save-compile. I really liked the features these scripts allowed me to enjoy regarding this program. How do I make these scripts work? Your answers will be much appreciated.
