OpenOffice Accessibility

I like to try new programs now and again. I downloaded OpenOffice 1.14 and installed it. The word processor seems fairly accessible, however the spread sheet is a no go. Am I just daft, or our there JAWS 6.2 scripts for OpenOffice? I am using Windows XP Home SP2.
