Dave,
Very good advice. Where is that Blarney Stone? I think I need a little luck
also. (LOLLOLLOL)
This morning all seems to be quite stable with both the W7 and Xp laptops.

Cy,

Good point. Who knows? Any one of us could be working with any number of
different permutations of MS-Office updates, even with the same operating
system. So that in spite of having the same level of JAWS and same level of
MS-Outlook, different configurations are indeed the more likely culprit for
those unexplained inconsistencies we are all fighting with.

So as one lister suggested, we are all using the same product combinations,
but in different alternative parallel universes.

Look out! Klingons!!! Fire the photon torpedoes, Scotty!

I'll go and kiss the Blarney Stone once more, just in case.

Hi,
I did have a problem with the status bar in Outlook 2007 and JAWS 11.
Magically now that long ago the problem went away and this was *before* I
downloaded the latest JAWS 11. It seems to me that the disappearance of the
problem and a Microbloat update came along at the same time.
As I recall several other little anomalies were also solved at that time.
The Microsoft updates often cause some most interesting things to either go
away or come aboard. (LOLLOLLOL)

Alex. Yes, I think that's what I said: The latest build of JAWS 12 resolved
the problem.

However if you're saying that you've not experienced this with any of the
JAWS 11 and JAWS 12 builds, then you have been blessed by the FS gods. May I

kiss your monitor and perhaps, like the Blarney Stone some luck will rub off

on me?

I'm using Outlook 2007 and the latest version of jaws 12, and I've never had
this problem.

Thought I'd share this.

Long ago (back in JAWS 11) I reported that the status bar at the bottom of
the MS-Outlook 2007 window became garbled with overlapping messages that did

not clear, eventually becoming unreadable. Restoring or maximizing the
window would clean it up, but it quickly became an unreadable mess again. I
surmised that it was a JAWS issue since JAWS 9 did not do this. And of
course I reported this to FS in two separate and widely spaced messages.

Well, without ever officially acknowledging the problem, FS fixed it with
this last JAWS 12 update. I didn't even see an honorable mention of this in
the myriad "Resolved an issue..." statements from Mr. Damrey.

So I guess we just need to have blind faith (sorry, couldn't help that) in
FS to solve all our problems.

But to all, please do continue to impress your issues to FS via their
support@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx address, so that they can know what we are
experiencing.
