Hi there, this seems to be one of the great mysteries of JAWS and Windows.
Sometimes it will speak the select and copy commands and sometimes it wont?
Also, the other day I was reading an email and down arrowing through the
text rather than the say all command. When I got to some magic point in the
message my Triple Talk unit sorta hissed and went silent. I thought that the
unit had suffered some type of catastrophic stroke so I restarted the
computer with the Triple Talk turned off. JAWS did come back up and when I
restarted again with the unit on it was just fine. I don't know what
happened to the particular message so I could see just what the character
configuration was which caused the problem Oh well, that is life with a
computer... (LOL)

Subject: OE and Jaws not saying....

Hello all.
If I want to reply to, or send a message, and in the message window, if I
press CTRL/A to select all the text, Jaws does not say the CTRL/A
keystrokes.
I reset the OE scripts with no change.
Using the Insert/1 keys for keyboard help, it says that CTRL/A selects all
text.
Any thoughts on clearing this up?
Thanks,
Morey
