If you only need to backup your basic account info you can do this from
accounts in the tools menu. There is an export button.
If you want to back up messages, folders, and settings, you need a OE backup
utility. I've been using a free backup program but the author doesn't
support it lately and has removed it from his site. Others may be found.
Try google oe backup.

How does one back up accounts in OE?
To answer the question of not seeing all e-mails in folders, one may
have messages grouped by conversation, or hide read or ignored messages
checked.

Boris,
I had the same problem and after numerous problem solving ideas, I
solved it by simply deleting that account ( only after backing every
thing up ) and resetting up the account I deleted and have had no
problems since. Sorry if this sounds like the hard way, but it was the
only solution I could come up with that worked.

Hi List,
Can anyone tell me why JFW would give me an incorrect reading of the
number
of messages in a folder? Example: JFW tells me that there are 17
messages
in the Deleted folder when in fact there are only 6. This problem
occurs in
all of the folders. Is there some setting that may have been
accidentally
changed?
Thanks,
Boris
