I have not been able to figure out how to keep the date (year) from saying
"second 0 0 6". I've adjusted the date processing settings and now I just
keep it at "no translation". You can play with the date formats (alt-O, then
cells), but it is irritating nonetheless.

Hi Anita,
It's Marissa. I think it's a matter of personal preference. You might want
to try going into global settings and fooling around with it a bit. I
believe there is a feature in there that affects the way Jaws pronounces
numbers. If you want to correspond off list my e-mail is:

hi list,
When reading the date, JFW doesn't announce the year correctly.
Instead of saying 2006, it's saying two zero zero six. To clarify, the
two is spoken as a digit by itself.
in the Text Processing dialog, do setting have to be set specifically,
or is it a matter of personal preference? how does one change the
different voices?
Thanks.
Anita
