NoteBooks

Hi.
thinking about purchasing a new notebook computer.
need this for study and for possible employment.
at the college, i am using a compac notebook with windows 2000, jaws 6.1, ms office, internet explorer, etc.
now looking for a good reliable notebook, sturdy, and also need a fast processor, plenty of ram, jaws for windows, ms office pro, and now looking to do
work in the project management and web design area.
so can any one recommend any good models, with software, and also need a wireless brordband internet connection, as do not have my own machine at home and
no of jawcopy s at home.
now meeting with the consultant today, from my employment agency, possibly might be able to do the diploma in project management, web based project, with
a possible employer, then next year looking to do the diploma in website development.
now can any recommend any good notebooks, with commercial and free software, as looking to use asp, php, mysql, text pad, even ms project.
so if any good tech guys, who has got their own notebook, and also can recommend a good cheap internet option as well.
hope i am making sense of this.
not the easiest with fingers, and a bit hard on equipment at times.
