Hi Judy. I'm curious what a chord chart looks like to Jaws. Are they hard to
understand with speach? Or, do you use braille?

I play a bit of music but have not learned to read music so this is just a bit
of interest for me. I play keyboards and a digital winnd controler but not
guitar.

My husband and I love Jarte and have been using it for two years. We still
have Word on our desktop, but I don't miss it a bit.

I have been able to write chord charts for musicians successfully using Jarte.

I just discovered a great feature in Jarte Plus, the low cost screen
friendly word processor. Now I can spellcheck after entering text editt boxes
on web pages. I don't know if it is included in the free version of Jarte but
the paid Plus version is only about $20. Hot Connect works well with Jaws. If
you want a basic word processor with spell checker and can't afford MS Word,
you might want to try Jarte.

    Hot ConnectText from:http://www.jarte.com/help_new/hot_connect.html
Hot Connect connects Jarte to any other program's text window allowing instant
transfer of text between the two windows. The connection makes it easy and
convenient to use Jarte to write and spell check text for the other program.
Hot Connect can be used for writing and spell checking e-mails, blog entries,
newsgroup posts, or any other writing task you normally do in another program
or in your web browser.Hot Connect can also be used for reading articles from
your web browser without any of the ads.
