Bobcat,

Look, there isn't anything unusual about your preferring to do the send and
receive routine manually, and that isn't producing any different a result
than the timed or automatic methods. You see, it's all the same action. I
do this manually all the time, too, although of course I let Outlook Express
do it on its own timer that I've set, also. All this is normal. The
message you're reading just doesn't sound like a sign of trouble, if after
all, you're successfully sending and receiving mail. I wouldn't be too
worried about it, if that's all that happens while you're waiting for your
mail to be sent and downloaded. It really doesn't sound sinister.

Just my opinion, of course. If there's some truly technically knowledgeable
person here who recognizes that odd message as a clue that something is
terribly wrong, well, I hope they speak up.

Daniel

Thanks Yardbird. I figured if it only happens to me alone, I'd contact FS
and see if I need to change something. Jaws is doing some other odd things
from time to time so I wonder if I don't have things set up right.

The reason I use this control is I like to get new mail manually instead of
when OE starts or automatically every so often.
