hi,
What version of K1000 do you have? I don't remember if this started in
v10 or v11 but you can hit alt t for settings
then n for conversion settings
then tab once and down arrow to pdf documents,
then you can choose how they ar dealt with. You can open them directly from
k1000
if you have an older version, print to the kurzweil virtule printer. I
saved my husband hours by converting a 300 page pdf document to a word
document. Let me know if that helps.

luck with adobe 7.0 reading most pdf documents. I used to print mine to
Kurzweill 1000. I don't know if open book has the same capability.

I took thes uggestion of some and used
pdf to text.
All my pdffiles covering 3 years of work are not usuable.
If some one has the answer, please write me off list.
This is JAWS related as the current Adobe versions do not readthe pdf
files well. I haveto use an olde program from "ADobe.
"A lot of hard work is now unusable and can some onewrite me off so
I might be able to get some help with this.
