Hmm, that is odd, as all of the pdf files I've ever tried reading with the latest builds of Acrobat read perfectly over here. and how is converting a file from pdf to text gonna cause the original pdf to become unusable. Maybe I'm missing something here, I don't discount it, but, something just seems slightly odd about your question. What version of Adobe Acrobat have you tried that didn't work correctly. Also, what version are you using of JFW, and what version of Windows, and are you sure that you have all the latest service packs? Have you modified any of the settings in Acrobat from the defaults, as if you did, that may be what is playing a factor in you not being able to read the files nor get the latest versions to be accessible. Aside from that, I dono what else to tell ya dude.
