hmmm, that's right, a senior mmoment, lol! if it has a serial port, you might try a usb to serial adapter and that may work, i have an alva from 1996 and i use a usb to serial adapter in order to use it with the serial interface instead of the parallel since the motherboard i have doesn't have a parallel port and it works great.
